Wet Whiskers Ale
The Wet Whiskers Ale is an extremely hoppy IPA. We use large amounts of hops late in the boil as well as in the fermentation tanks. This “dry-hopping” gives the beer a bold hop aroma and flavor. We chose to use Cascade hops exclusively for a bitterness that are very clean, and also for their citrusy and floral aromas. To balance the attack on the senses the hops wage, we use a special blend of toasted and crystal malts, which add depth of flavor and color, and ensure that the hops are not the only thing you taste. We finish this brew with a few pounds of roasted barley to get the perfect dark amber color.
